Many people have lost boards to the tide at Dolls Point. Where do the damn things go? One guy told me he saw his disappearing under the Captain Cook Bridge (2km away). He stoppped the car and swam out to get it! He was lucky. I lost one a couple of years back. Never found it.

yep..lost one there last year. i scoured the bays on the other side with no luck. i reckon theres a treasure trove of 50 boards washed up in the mangroves over there somewhere just waiting to be found by a lucky punter. i know people say you shouldnt ride with a leash but dolls is one spot that once your board gets away from you its good night nurse...
