What are some good spots to kite in Perth and around town for a beginner ?

Thanks. My gear arrives just after Christmas and after 5 hours worth of lessons I will try and have a go myself. I like the sound of kiting on the ocean rather than the river but will go and check out the spots once I get to Perth.
