45kgs 6m switchblade 3 and 30-35knots, waves for extra height and butter flat water for the landings.

Rosebud on a 35 knot northerly.

neilo his T2 would boost higher then the rev. The rev and t2 are very similar, rev is more dynamic and better for surf, t2 has more range and better boosts.

The Rev and Turbo 2 similar??? IMHO not a chance, wasn't a great fan of the Turbo 2 but absolutely love that Rev. By the way, the Rev is not bad for the old school boost, IMHO boosts as good as the next kite. Funny how we all reply which kite jumps the best, but I have noticed that the same guys at the beach seem to consistenlty jump higher regardless of the kites used (guys who upgrade from C to SLE, change brands etc.)

Technique rather than specific kite????????

Obviously technique comes into it, but the kite itself is a limiting factor, sure I'm not going to be jumping as high as possible every time. The reason I'm asking is because I want a kite which makes it easier for me to get up high , given that my technique is getting better all the time, or so I hope .

Which is a big reason why I think I'm going to have to make a trade-off between handling and boost, I can't have some mammoth booster that wrenches my arms off, that I can't control, that will end in tears no doubt.

Fly your T2 in its upper upper wind range and you should go big.

The boys on Bandits over here do alright too

Hi Jimmy,

There is no need to make the trade off. The Ozone Instinct Edge 2 has massive boost potential as well as light bar pressure, huge wind range and crisp handling. Grab a demo of one to see what I mean. The Edge 2's won the big air at Kitestock by consistently jumping huge. The height and hangtime on these kites is trly scary when it all comes together.

Good winds,

Kites that Boost and ALSO have huge hang time...

North Rhino and Ozone Instinct "EDGE"

Subject to the riders skills, technique and ability. Once you've cracked the technique the above 2 kites are pretty good.

Hi Sharkbait,

The Instinct Edge 2 is the performance flagship of the Ozone range and is slightly more expensive than your regular day to day kite but is comparable in price to other company's performance kites like the Best Nemesis HP etc.

Starting at 1799 for the 7m and increasing by $100 per size. You would do well to drop in and see Goshen at Kitepower in Geelong and see if he can do you some kind of a deal.

Well worth the investment!

Good winds,

Felix you pimp!

Everyone down here sold their HP's and Waroo's to get Edges once they tried them. ..... no comparison... I love my Edges
Bull sh-t [}:)]

Their was only one HP kite rider here ever! thats me !
I tried the edge its nothing special compared the 12m ,10m hp are brilliant .
you never gave the hp a chance as i first did due to "incorrect tuning
"AA 55cm bar Q pro power lines the kite in a class its own , and last year the
waroo pro's out jumped the waroo by a mile , the waroo is the best surfkite ever , never claimed to be the best hangtime power kite , but to say"no comparison" when only on last sat-days session I out jumped / out kite looped you and overtook you on the 10m hp Vs 11 edge and I near 20kg heavyer & 10 years older than you
And like i said to you on sunday stick to the edges cause if you had a Hp you be out jumping me old mate
Thanks Kusu for the Q pro power lines their awesome

Go the HP Go Big & kite Loop or Go Home

Mmmmm. You got the gold, But I am sure it was your Edge 2 I was looking down on whilst jumping it. Nemesis HP's are the biggest jumping kite by far. Ive tried alot of kites and still im drawn back to the Best Nemesis..
