Taken on average of every kite ever, the Best Team and the BWS range are fast turning kites and are all black making the proportion of fast turning black kites slightly higher than the average of all other kites. So yes, but it's in the design.
I'm going to get a custom kite made in 3 tone. Black, white and fluro pink in the middle (for getting the most air) just a bit worried the kite will just spin in circles.
Black = hotter = higher coefficient of friction = more resistance = slower
