Kiters must have special wind meters,
Max wind in QLD on new years was 20 knots and it wasnt in Yeppoon.
The wind in QLD has been crap!!!!
Dont mind me, just bored at work so i thought i would troll on a kite forum and stir up the Teabaggers!!

Dude .... that's a bloody cruel thing to do to your fellow NT kiters.

We are just hanging in there ..... nooses are being made , beer consumption peaking , our therapists have never been more busy.

This is a time of the year when we have to tough it out ... humidity and heat peaking while looking to the horizon for the first monsoon. The shore sea temp can be 35 degrees. .

The DKC mob lined up at the beach most days ..... just trying to keep it together, supporting each other .... walking on eggshells , heaps of tension in the camp , even a few tears .... the massive relief when it rains and the monsoon westerlies hits us.

Even started foiling but not enough wind for that for a while.

Maybe the moderators need to step in on this thread due to victimisation of a minority who are under extreme psychological pressure. We cant take a lot more....

I hate to be a school teacher but I edited your spelling. I get it, it's the NT, education is a bong and a litre of petrol.

WA is over rated.

Heaps more cleaner waves east side, plus the wind graphs dont read true or give away all the good spots to blow ins

Surely WA has better waves than that single piss ant one with nobody on it. C'mon at least give us something worthy of a crowd!

DKC mob heading to Robe SA in a few weeks.

A lot of the talk is about the need for a wetsuit.

Gotta get pics of their faces when they touch 14 degree water and their perineum gets an unfamiliar workout.

Must get boring having the same of conditions all the time. Where's the variation? Where's the storms? The monster swell? The 40 knot squalls? Where's the balmy light cruiser wind sessions?

Nz is pretty interesting right now.
