On the wind graphs what does it mean when the arrows are really close together? Also along way apart? I am sure it is a basic question but I am pretty basic hence the question. Cheers Billy.

It's just the regularity of a beacon taking a reading. Some take a reading every 15 minutes, some take them every half hour, some every hour. NSW Gerroa beacon records every 10 minutes, whereas NSW Point Perpendicular Beacon records every half hour. Because all the graphs are to the same scale regarding time of day, some just have a lot more arrows displayed.

I thought it may be something to do with gusts or something like that.
