Hello friends,
this is to comunicate that finally the windy season has started in Bali..
SO far we had one of the worst season in history!!!
June normally is pretty windy but this year absolutely NOT!!!
We had 4 days of decent wind ( 2 of them int he last 3 days!!) and few crappy one.
But now looks like it should be ok.
See you in Bali.
Bye Jankie

PS. There is new kite shop with huge billboards on the By Pass (local highway) arriving in Sanur.

It doesn't have anything to do with me "Kite & Surf Bali - The Pro Shop" or with the "Bali Kitesurfing School", owned and managed by the local Balinese Kitesurf Team.

The shop in on the main road of Sanur and the school is at kite beach.
Already few people got confused...

Hey Jankie,

I am coming to Bali in August, but not taking any gear as I can't be bothered lugging it around the whole trip as I plan to hop between Lombok, Bali and the Gili Islands (also the girlfriend has said no laptops or kites allowed ).

I'm wondering what rental gear you have available??? I'd love to come say hello and check out your location and hopefully get a kite in!

Cheers,

Michael

Hello guys,
please note that I'm not involve directly in the Bali Kitesurfing School anymore!

I only manage the web site and marketing for them...
Bali Kitesurfing School is now fully owned and managed by the local Balinese Kitesurfing Team. They are the best and we collaborate very closely.
Support the locals!!!!

Me and my wife own and manage Kite & Surf Bali the Pro Shop and now also Warung Sale e Pepe an informal Italian restaurant just next to the shop.

At the school they have Ozone and Cabrinha kites.
For more details go to the web site and click on the school page.
Bye Jankie

Surfer62 Downwinders from Seminack to cunggu is a good run with a bit of swell running , becomes more cross onshore the further up the coast you go.
