Looks like theres been a few thousand litres of untreated water flushed into the ocean. A fishing alert has been issued. Looks like it is a major engineering feat to fix. Why is there a treatment plant so close to the ocean AND a supposed nature reserve. The ocean is not our garbage dump.
Unless you know something else Dave you're just being an alarmist dork bringing down the good name of Daves everywhere.
From Pioda's link
Due to a faulty valve at the Woodman Point Wastewater Treatment Plant,
highly treated wastewater usually released offshore at Point Peron has been released via a contingency outlet pipe at Woodman Point, 1.6kms offshore. The amount that has been released represents a small volume of the wastewater processed at the Plant.
There is a major difference there. In many places highly treated wastewater = drinking water.
