like the idea . .but..

best hell fish anyone ?

3- 6 knots is seriously light.

I love what Dimitri is TRYING to do with his videos-they just need to be sharpened up a bit (and trimmed)

and the Kite SUP combo can be seriously fun. I can see someone doing a really cool kite / SUP video in light winds and surf soon. KEahi where are you ?

but oh man his copy is dodgy. The text at the end had me in stitches.

The true wind - probably more like 6 - 8 knots - still good light wind performance though.

My guess would be a tad exaggeration of the wind strength. Having flown a kite in 5 knots, you can barely keep it in the air. Even a small kite will fall out of the sky in sub 8 knots.

I've flown my kite at altona in 10 knots and been fully powered but the reality was the wind strength on the ground was wrong and I didn't have a "wonder light wind kite". The moment you could the kite a couple of metres up it was pretty strong (which most people on land didn't realise because they left me kiting for an hour before a couple of them headed out)
