Last summer setting up on the beach I saw 2 dodgy looking blokes hanging around. 15 minutes in the water, dodgy blokes now nowhere to be seen and I thought I saw my car leaving the car park. I couldn't see my car parked and was convinced it had been stolen.
I reasoned that if I went in, packed up and reported it to the police my car would still be gone and I wouldn't have got a kite fix.
2 hours later, still believing car was gone could you imagine my surprise when it was still there. With a really low tide I couldn't see it over the sandhills.
Not exactly a lie to go kiting but I was prepared to lie to stay out.
What would you do if you saw your car drive off while out in the water?
