Your joking are you sure you wanna make that bet PsYLoR. My first wave on a lid i pulled straight in. Truth is i got no time kite let alone wast my time on a lid to prove a point that i already know is right. Yea those arials on lids are groovy but do you even wanna go near the comparison on a board

You missed the point mate. That point is it takes very little skill to paddle out on a boogy and drop into a tube let alone those big gashing cut backs they do or wait how about those 360 wow slow down my beating heart. As for the groovy air stuff do it on your feet and then we will talk. Oh and by the way your skill as a kiter (as considerable as it is) does not change anything i have said about lids so why not just smell the roses and admit i am right.[}:)]

Richo said....
"hay the ocean is for every one i am happy no matter what you ride."

Why cant you RESPECT the very people (the professionals) that give kids the dream to become the best, to push the limits of human capability and to follow their own dreams to be world champs etc. Dont right off a particular sport because of a bunch of noobs.

and you also said.... "Paddle out and sit outside people that have taken years to reach a solid surfing level. Sit around and bitch about how boogy boarding is harder and more full on, then drop in just enough to make the tbe crumble on some guy and have a good laugh."

So you've had a bad experience, Yeah ive had the same situation with a bunch of 'kelly slater asian' fin dick surfers on a wave more suited for bodyboarders, In fact you can get the same sh1t with rollerbladers & skateboarders who dont know how to take proper lines through a skatepark. Beginners always getting in the road of more advanced riders and sometimes vice versa it can be very frustrating, but its the same for most sports between good riders and bad ones Richo and i fail to see how this makes one sport better than another.

Ive also had all time sessions with surfers & been the only booger there, we all respected eachother and it didn't matter how we rode cuz we where all there for the same thing - TO RIDE THE WAVE.
Go out in Kirra in when its double or tripple overhead swell and i doubt you'll have any probs between boogers & surfers. Everyones just too busy paddling & consentrating on their own riding.

The point i want to make is that you can bitch all you want about other sports or try to put people down by saying 'X' sport is better, but at the end of the day your just making a random generalisation based off your own limited experiences and you really dont even have a valid argument here.

While your hating on boogers you may as well hate on the surf lifesavers too for blocking good beach breaks with the flags?
Respect other beach users and treat others the way you yourself would like to be treated. RESPECT

Richo lets just hope for some good winds.
(unless you wanna make the bet?)
BTW - hows that SRT going and ooooooh have you seen Fitzy's Crossbow bar mod - Fkn sick!

Nice one Psylor. It's usually the people that only ride once or twice a year that put **** on boogers anyway so I wouldn't be getting to cut up about those types of comments though. I get it all the time from mates who only surf a few times a year when the suns out and it's small and fat.

yea what ever mate yea once or twice year in the water thats me[}:)] what a kook.

Truth is with baby land and work, do not seem to get much water time of late

No i am just a whinging old bastard who remembers tos before the lids and surf reports and all the rest.

Yea i got some respect for boogers but i gotta tell ya it is the easy way there is no gettin around it.

When it is real hard to get waves all the lids can give ya the poos. Having said that it must be hard for a lid see a surfer go to late and trash the tube. Well stay on ya guts ya legend at least that way ya never fall off and ya can think your a real hotty

anyway ya better watch out cause it is speed bump heaven out there and i got big tyres on[}:)]

Take it easy man. We're not the ones with the attitude. I surf with standups, I've got nothing against em. Just the ones who put **** on boogers just for doing it differently. We cop **** for riding a kite out here from surfers too. Why do people give a ****? It's because it's something different and people are scared of different. Their insecure worlds are turned upside down because someone came along and did more impressive things than they could (ie. Boogers can get into heavier waves, kiters get more air). So suddenly this image that your the coolest, most hardcore guy in the water isn't stacking up anymore.

And you notice I'm not putting **** on stand-ups just because of the way the choose to ride? I ride with alot of stand-ups. Some of them I would consider to be among the best in Australia and we all get along fine, share waves and get stoked when each other gets a good one. No need for agro where it's not due.

Go have a breather mate, settle down and unless they're dropping in on you ignore bodyboarders and they'll ignore you back. Even if it was easier there's no denying the fact that we push ourselves harder because of it. Around here you'll find a million stand-ups riding the beaches and at places like the Island, Suckrock, Ours and the reefs it's mainly boogers filling the line-up, and the surfers that do take it on are all fairly good. And don't forget Mike Stewart was still towing in to Chopes when it was on last month, now try pulling into that with no fins!

i dont know how any surfer/waterman could put **** on kiting...

Kiting in the surf just improves your overall ocean knowledge and understanding of the waves and that environment, any surfer who knocks kiting without trying it is retarded, and if they did try it i bet they would get into the sport....could be a bad thing actually as the gold coast has enough people in the ocean as it is.

Shhhhh...keep it quiet

Hey Im not buying into this guf but i did read the first post I reckon if you could pull some of the sick airial stuff on a kite that I can do on a lid then you would be doing stuff that even some of the pros may have not or i have not seen them do yet-so I,ll leave that to your debate

Yeah so what Richo, Kelly Slater was a booger before he stood up, Tom Morey (Morey Boogie) was a surfer & surfboard shaper before he layed down. So whats your point?

Dear PsYLoR,

You are being over-defensive about your esky-lidding.

Don't be.

They can't understand the joy of getting barrelled while lying on your fat gut.

Fools.
