Howdy.

I know that bar/kite compatibility has been discussed plenty of times already, but im hoping for a little more light on the situation.

Heading overseas in a few weeks and wanting to take 12m 2011 switchblade and 14m nrg.

Believe the qr systems between the smart bar and the switchblade will be fine as they both leash onto a front line and have similar depower trim on the depower strap.

The nrg can be leashed the same way, but as it is below bar depower. You could potentially pull 50cm or more of length off of the front lines if, for some reason, you needed to.

So my question is:
is the approx 10cm of depower on the smart bar enough adjustment for the nrg? Or will I regret not taking my liquid force bar?

i have both bars. I don't use the cabrinha bars on any of my cabrinha and NRG kites. The liquid force bar is better but is not the best.

Has the thought of testing before you head overseas? Even if someone told me it would work i would still be testing before traveling!

I took both (much to the disgust off my tight arse), so i still don't know, and don't really need to know.

P.S. The NRG is crap.
