after a local beginner bought a 12 mtr trio from airush he was told his new kite was a peice of **** from someone who had never flown one.
obviously he was worried he had bought a dud. so the other day while watching this guy up and planing on about his 5th time out i asked him to give me a go to show him what his kite was capable of. i was out on my x3 in about 15- 18 kn getting approx 15ft+ high jumps.

you should have seen the owners face when i got a 20ft+ jump with a smooth landing. i followed this up with a triple backy also landing clean. i was having so much fun on this kite i didnt give it back for 1/2 an hour.

needless to say i was impressed and the owner well he cant wait to be pushing the limits on his new kite. im hanging to try this thing in 20kn+.

Nice goin KNM, that just goes to proove like most other sports, it's not the equipment that makes you good or bad, its your technique, and the amount of effort you put in. Although good equipment can aid you, and having the right gear for the right conditions helps. But this sport is still 90% flying the kite, when you've nailed that, the rest is up to you....

I learnt on a Trio - must say I didnt particularly like the kite, but at the time I had a smallish board and the kite was probably a size too small for predominant conditions here.

it sure took a beating though. damn did I thrash that kite, and I was its third owner!
send it up

SIWALKER, YOUR A ****HEAD. I also had a newbie ask me to fly his 9mtr Trio to make sure it was set up right. After half an hour of **ty, gusty onshore crap at peli point I was hard put to give it back to the guy cause I'd been having so much fun on this super stable, very forgiving great learner -intermediate kite that boosts almost as well as it's big brother the flow.
Guess it's just a pity that Liquid Foreskin can't produce equipment of this quality.
