Wait till the weekend - there'll still be lots of safe wind for you !

Not much of a second chance when things can go terribley wrong!

Last year some of the fronts had mini tornadoes in them.. [}:)]

BOM warning:
TOP PRIORITY FOR IMMEDIATE BROADCAST
SEVERE WEATHER WARNING
for Widespread Damaging Winds with Abnormally High Tides
For people southwest of a line Geraldton to Hopetoun, including Geraldton, Perth
metropolitan area, Bunbury, Busselton and Albany.
Issued at 4:20 am on Wednesday 20 May 2009

A strong cold front will approach the southwest of the state later on Wednesday.
Widespread damaging winds to 110 kilometres per hour are expected to develop in
the Southwest District early Thursday morning and extend to the remainder of the
area during Thursday as the front moves east.

Heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop in the Southwest
District by early Thursday as the front approaches and extend into the Lower
West during Thursday.

On Thursday higher than normal tides may result in inundation of low-lying
coastal areas. Heavy surf conditions are forecast and significant beach erosion
is likely.
The FESA - State Emergency Service advises people to put away or weigh down
loose objects, clear gutters and down-pipes from leaves and blockages and
prepare an emergency kit with portable radio, torch, spare batteries and first
aid kit. Boat owners should moor their boats. For SES assistance call 132 500.

I have a 2m inflatable and it works really well in winds from 20 knots all the way to 75 knots, great fun. I use a 2m pansh Ace in gail force winds. So much fun and you can even do big jumps, So SO fast !!!

Also broke my ankle the same way but it way over 50 k not winds and I jumped too close to the beach and landed on hard wet sand. NOT MUCH FUN !!
