hey guys
i am fairly new to kiteboarding and have been riding peter lynn for a season now and love them, i have found a cheap 05 13m fuel for sale which i am interested in, however from a few different riders i have heard that LEI's arn't as good as the twinskins. is it true?

I sell and ride both types.
Neither is "better" than the other, they are totally different kites. Kites yeah, but they have such different handling qualities. The venom/twin skin style is is best at waveriding (with an experienced rider) and freestyle - like big boosting and hooked in tricks.
The fuel is best at unhooked wakestyle, and can also be used in waves (with skill), and for freestyle hooked in riding.
In short they both can do similar things.
On the downside, pump ups can get punctures and are generally not as durable as a twin skin, and a twin skin can be hard to inflate if there is poor wind at ground level, and can be problematic for inexperienced people to relaunch from water.
That covers most of it. If the 05 13M Fuel is cheap, go for it (less than $600 complete), it was a strong pulling kite not renowned for upwind ability (but still goes upwind) or depower. Make sure the safety system is complete and fully functioning, and that you know how to use it, before you use/inflate the kite.

Nah I rekon that <insert kite name> is the best it's got the best <insert type of safety/de-power> than all the other <insert OTHER kite type here> kites out there.
Either way, what ever makes you happy!
Demo one!
