Finally australia is leading the charge among the wider kiting world.
Long have been these days of waiting for controlled kiting equipment orientated competitions on a level such as the nationals, and i personally belive it hasnt come soon enough. sure you have taken the right steps towards acceptance with current measures such as helmets and not being able to wear dangerous foot devices such as bindings but.... i dont belive its enough, how would you like to see the sport banned? yes banned? thats right we need to do more, we need to evolve this sport into a safe recreational activity, and not just some dangerous stunt as it is currently seen!!!
So in saying that i belive we need to fight for what is right for this sport and what is right for the innocent public. bottom line is...
#1 WE need to ban boots, this is without a doubt top of the list, they are a danger to the public and the induvidual using them.

#2 We need to enforce the helmet rule. a helmet should be used always no questions asked.

#3 pink zinc and sunscreen along with full body lycra should be worn at ALL times, this including off the water activitys. one postive of this is you wont need no condom.

#4 camel backs! without question. this is one of the most important devices that a kiter should have and i personally am desgusted that more people dont have one.

#5 global positioning satellite. yes. the whole satellite.

#6 PARACHUTE. top of the list without question. if a lofting occurs you are safe. i personally belive no one should be able to buy a kite at all unless they have first bought one.

I have voiced my opinion about a few very important and serious issues throughout this thread and hope that my ideas will be taken very seriously as we need to act NOW before this sport gets banned or more people get killed.

yes, the things that Alexander James Lewis-Hughes the 3rd stated are very true- this sport is getting way to dangerous.

I do believe that Bow kites should also be banned. there jellyfish like tenticales are getting way out of hand, getting longer and long, become a danger to c kiters whom dont have their helmets and other protective gear..

Leg ropes are a essential. always want ur board being "flung" into the back of your head.

kite boy wash ur mouth out. Lou is a pioneer, a legend, he is the reason we ride the way we do, he was ridin how everyone is ridin now years ago, and his old footage still craps on everyone. LOU SHOULD BE GOD, study him each night before bed, pray to him. If you do not praise him i will personally track u down and cut up all ur kiting stuff then burn it and feed it to u then make u eat ur poo. SHOW SOME RESPECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
