left.

What I'm trying to elude to is the fact that myes myes is confusing the present tense with the past tense. Not only that but he is confused with what signifies a kite as an 06 kite, it is not the fact that it is made in 06 but rather that it is made for the 06 season.

And finally the fact that his question is utterly ****ing retarded because no one kite is "best" for everything or everyone.

perhaps his question should have been, "What are some of the better kites of the 2006 season with regards to ease of handeling and general all round performance for a noob"

and maybe my reply would have been something like this "Use the search fool"

maybe you should drop the egotistical attitude dickhead. He asked a question on a kiting forum, not sale of the century...no need to shut him down.

carbine you seriously have some issues mate....
you seem like a very angry and cynical person on an otherwise chilled out forum. i don't enjoy reading your posts, they are such a waste of space.
i think the question is fairly reasonable, he's just looking for opinions, not someone to tell him how fkn stupid the question is.

as for the question, i have no idea haven't ridden any 06 kites

i have to say tho, after trying the 9m assault i have a feeling they have somethin pretty special once u get used to the new style of bow riding... they are sic also.

guess you wood have to put the fuels up there also.

not so sure bout best when i see them collapse so much when goin down the line...

It's a dumb question for a number of reason's

No.1 No one has flown every sort of kite

No.2 People on his forum are sponsored or sell kites (bias)

No.3 A begginer will not like a advanced kite as will a advanced rider dislike a begginers kite

No.4 People ride in different conditions (waves, flat, chop)

No.5 Most importantly people will invariably say the kite they fly is the best, lets face it your not gonna say your flying a peice of crap.

As a result the answers you will get from people are meaningless and impossible for you to find an answer to your question. Ask questions maybe like whats the best innovation in equipment or something like that and you will get a less biased answer.

IMO all 06 kites are all good and only sepperated by tiny differences such as bar setup, onepump.

rhino 6's look sweet as in the sky and the torch 2's look ok good too, ok some of those torch colour schemes are a bit funky :). mike reckons they are a good improvement from the 05 torch (which never really worked for me)

are the reactors 06, gav's 9m was fairly nice. pulled like a truck if you looped i but then again it was howling

my rrd type 7 is nice and works great for me, im getting a single kite quiver out of a 12m at the moment will have to see how long that lasts

the new fuels look sweet too, ryland mentioned not so long ago that the fuels/slingshots are the best value @ full retail (especially considering resale) going around and id have to agree with him

dunno much about the bows, but im finding it hard to get excited about them. theres too many reports of various teething problems (flipping, bar probs etc) and far too many new guys popping teensy jumps and going man these bows jump huuuuge. dale makes them work though. ive yet to really see anyone on a bow "lit"... ie honking wind kite tucked down low and edging to all hell throwing plenty of spray.

bottom line is, i dont think u'd go wrong with any 06 kite and most of us aren't pushing the limits with most of them anyway.
