I'm heading down south to the Bluesfest with kite gear in late April, and I am looking for good places to kite, what are some recommendations? (also what to avoid.)

Seeing that I am the only kiter amongst the gals, I am hoping they can drop me off for a down winder and meet me later for drive home. For this area I have only kited Kingscliff and would like to try different places. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't bother, it's banned there.
