Just wondering how many people ride bindings and are these similar to wakeboard bindings or are they specialty made kiteboard bindings and do you need a special board or can they go on any board? keen to give them ago just not sure! any info would help cheers.

basically any binding will do wake or kite. but only certain boards will work. production boards normally dont have the right insert pattern. and u will probly have to ride a bigger board than u normally do.

LF Unions are great for kite'n coz you can get in and out of them really easy. You want a board that has a flat top so you won't get toe and heel lift which will over time rip out the inserts. There are a few kite boards that suit bindings. It really comes down to what you're looking for i.e. flex or stiff.
