A few kitesurfs ago I crashed the kite and lost my board(I am a learner). As I relaunched the kite a wave washed my board over the lines about 4 mtres up from the bar and went up with the kite. I had been told to watch for this but the timing of the wave was perfect to catch the board. The kite was low in the window so I dumped it straight away hoping the lines didnt cut.I was thinking cut line and a kiteboard in the head from 12 feet. On inspection the lines were fine. Is there any easy/quick way to fill the gap where the fins dont fit quite flush with the board or do I have to get out the grinder?

some fins come with a 2mm, tight, foam padding between them and the board to take up any gaps. Try that?
