If you kite north of Bay St (near the swimming enclosure) you will piss off the Airport Authority big time. Only windsurfers can use this end of the beach. You will need to go south about 1 km of the Novotel. Construction work on the beach front has moved us further south as well. There is plenty of beach between the rock groins if you have an assisted launch, since the beach is a bit narrow. If you have access to transport Dolls Point is about 3-4 km down the bay and there is sure to be people there if the winds up.
