mate it aint worth selling, price up a new LE bladder if under $100 get it and do a double cross stitch and a few more sewing technics on the the kite, then would be all good. Your repair depends all on the new bladder. if to much just keep it for newer kite repairs but do not bin. lots of people will pay money for the material and the other bladders. I am sure you will see a forum post or find and old one that someone would benifit buy your wasted kite.

However, you said good in light winds you must be pretty small to say this is a light wind kite...

Then the is well, is it worth repairing. if this is your light wind kite a whole of 12mt.....mmmmmmmmmm

Doesn't look too bad !

Definately fixable. The bladder needs patching and sealing with an iron or bag sealer. The kite needs stitching by a pro repairer.

Ther is a guy that gives quotes. Moto Levi ???

SOS will fix the bladder piece of piss
Neil at Hold the Lines Kites (if he's not in Thailand) will fix the leading edge for less than $100. He can also arrange for the bladder to be fixed, but sends it away to the East.

Spot 1,

Good news, yes it can be fixed!
My leading edge was in far worse shape, I took it to a sale-maker and he fixed the LE, whilst I was waiting for the bladder. All the "damage" was just over 200 bucks, way cheaper than a new kite.
Worth to try.

Good luck.

Bought 12m Rhino 2004 two weeks ago from www.kiteaddiction.com.au (still on their list), cost 125$. Pretty bad condition.

This is the best use I ever seen for a kite.
The question is: do you inflate the kite before, or after braking? lol

i was keeping my 01 wipika hydro for nostalgic reasons till the w/e.

my freakin dog took it out of the kite bag and systematically ripped it to shreds - after removing L/E bladder and ripping that to shreds.

she knows whats good for me.
if it was my 06 kite - i dont think she knows whats best for her health.

put it in the bin without a second thought. oh well...
RIP wipika hydro 8.9.

Neil at Hold the Lines Kites could fix it but is away on a kite surfing holiday and doesn't return until 10th July or thereabouts(lucky bugger), I know because I rocked up to his shop on Saturday morning with my broken kite to find it closed with a sign on the door.
My kite is currently with a local northern suburbs guy (Kite Dr)PM me if you want his details.

Hi Spot1
I have fixed a lot of these over the past years doesn't look to bad.
Happy to help if you can't find someone any good over there.
I look after many of the Kite shops and locals on the Gold Coast and inter state.
