we are heading up to fraser isl boxing day for 3 days,
can you kite on any of the inland lakes there?
or do risk going in the ocean.ive heard there is the same amount of sharks all over the coast, its just the water is clearer & you can see them better? is this true?
also are the cable parks near noosa & the one sth of brissy still open?

lol... My guess is that it would be way too small, plus there are some pretty big hills around it (towards the coast) so the wind would be way bumpy. Also, there are about a million people that would be on that small strip of beach where u could launch your kite.

Sunshine Coast cable park is open.
Gold Coast cable park is closed.

There are less sharks down in the sunny coast, fraiser is loaded with them. That said, i do a bit of spearing down here (sunshine coast) and see a fair few tigers. But they wont hurt you... trust me hehe. Dude, I have been surfing here for years without a bite and I am in the water virutally every day with plenty of days spent paddling accross the 1km stretch of apparent tiger breeding ground to Old Women Island. I do know of friends of friends who have been bitten tho, however no fatalities that I have ever heard of.
