so i tangled a line on launch during setup... and the winds blowing onshore.. 15kts.
i think ill crash in the corner of the window, let it skipp accross to downwind, and engage the 5th line so i can untangle the 1 crossed line... If anything goes wrong, ill engage the 5th line.
the kite crashed, and skips to downwind as expected, and skips onto a pile of washed up debree.. when i pull the 5th line, putting extra load on the leading edge while its sitting on a few twigs, and shells the leadding edge BURSTS for around a foot, where it had been scratched while flying over the rocks, and shells......
moral of the story, if your gonna land your kite on a rocky beach with no-one there, Fuly engage your safety so their's absolutely no load making your brand new kite rip itself to pieces... First time in 5 years of kiteing Ive burst a bladder... won't make that mistake again!
