I have looked at their charts but want to hear from actual riders.

What is the low end (roughly) for a 78kg rider on a 144 twin tip to be up and riding upwind???

The ozone charts dont show much difference between the 10m and 12m on the low end.

For me on a TT, 70 kilos.
I need 14 knots on the 12m, up to 23 I would say.
and 17 knots on the 10m, up to 30 knows.

Wow,
So for me at 78kgs, going on your weight , I would be looking at close to 20knots on the 10m???????
Thats way above what they show on the charts. And a pretty crap low end.

Or maybe that humid indo wind dosent have as much punch,or maybe Im just jealouse I havent been to Indo for ages.

I dont really want to go up to a 12m,,,,dont like bigger kites.

Thanks for the info.

Anyone else want to tell of their experiance on the 10m cat?

I've used the Catalyst 10M a lot, its one of my favourite kites in the demo shed. I also weigh the same as you and I also have an Underground Stella 1.44x46 and a Cab Prodigy 1.47x43, the Underground gives me the best bottom end, and I only use the Prodigy in surf or choppy conditions.
Bottom end for me on the 10M Catalyst, staying upwind and having fun is 15 knots, top end on a smaller board like the 1.32 FLX is around 30 knots.
