But, if any of u awesome sounding people could let me know of wheres a good spot to see some kitesurfers in action in these crappy months in perth.. Had a look around that melville/applecross place on da river, but found absolutely no one. I just think itd be cool to see some perth ppl in action.

Also, i know u cant really bag places on the net, but my lessons are booked with "pelican point", are they orrite??

Chrz for ur time dudes.

There won't be to many people out at melville during winter. The winds generally comming from the wrong directions, either to weak or to strong or gusty. Most people are on the ocean, winds a bit cleaner and the penalty for failure is less (eg less chance of landing in a house or tree).

go for a look don the ocean, cott, woodies or scarbs.
Lots of action when the wind is right.

Try Woodman Point this arvo, guessing there will be a few out. (Woodies is just south of Coogee)

Ashame it's not blowing over there guys, but I finally got out yesterday after a bit more than a month ... Talk about ages, but I'm starting to get the hang of it all now, and I actually managed to stay upwind for a little bit, and then just kept going downwind, and walking back ...

Too bad it's not blowing this weekend, but you never know with the BOM, the winds might change

Thanks PsYLoR - At least we finally got some good winds here the other day...Ah, the famous walk of shame.. Trust me, I spend a fair bit of time walking back upwind because I cannot stay upwind fully yet... It's all worth it though
aw ouch, you guys need 2 wear Neil Pryde boots- They may not be the best looking things, but at least it saves ur feet
Monday arvo -> Thursday looks great, so I sure hope the prediction sticks...
