how bad do they get when completly delaminated? can it still hold its shape well?
i dont mind too much as i was only going to use it to mess around and teach some guys to kite.
and it is only a 5m so it holds its shape pretty easy.

Hey Greg
Go to a decent camping store and get a tube of seam seal, make sure it is polyurethane type, not silicone. Car repairers, hardware shops might have a similar clear, flexible, waterproof polyurethane type glue, takes about 8 hrs to set.
It will be difficult to apply and not stick the bladder in the kite, I would take the bladder out and then put some grease proof paper (waxed paper) under the delammmed area, otherwise you will stick the sides of the bladder together.
This will work and will prolong the life of the kite, provided the cloth under the laminate is not torn.
