You can't go wrong with fcp or adobe premiere. Personally I like premiere. It works on both macs or pc.

i checked out adobe premier and they want $50 per month for an individual new customer or $70 per month for a business new customer. thought this would be best to use on a pc desktop
where as the final cut pro was $380.
think ill go with the final cut pro, and use on a mac laptop, as i didnt like the thought of $1,800 over the next three years with adobe, plus ongoing monthly fees!

ive been using imovie on a mac laptop, and although limited in some things it does the basics very well. and comes free with the laptop.
my only problem is with a kite line mounted camera and getting some software to automatically take the shakes and rotate it. I think i need the better software to do this.

i didnt like the sound of the adobe creative cloud. apart from the costs per month being the only purchase plan, wheres my cloud if i don't have an internet connection on the road? probably great for professionals in a bigger organisation. and great in countries with fibre optic internet. Australia (at least my suburb) wont have that for a few decades.
