anyone tested the new f one m5 kites, just had 10 days kiting in boracay and bought a 12m f one m5 on the last day after testing the 16m and thought it was amazing, massive de power, low drag and moved so smooth, anyone got one in sydney, anyone know where they sell spares??

cheers will do, need some wind first, thet are very new but speaking to the distributer in asia he thinks they are the best 2005 kite in europe, if its like the 16 i tried don't even think, just buy.

tried in about 14 knots, didn't try unhooked but the 5th line has an option for hooking in around the bottom of the bar below max power so you never get tangled, this needs to be converted with a kit that comes with the kite. it also comes with a extra hook for tricks out of the chicken loop, not sure about un hooking un powered if your hooked in the loop as i can't see how you avoid it. It has an additional option of hooking the extra bar loop onto the chicken loop for constant power when unhooked so the bar doesn't just slide into total de power but only has a tiny notch to keep it in place so you can easily disingage. the amazing thing about this kite is the lack of edging required as the de power range is twice that of normal kites. I saw a guy 60kg out in 25 knots and he just rode de powered then when he jumped he just pulled the bar and flew higher than anyone around it was amazing to watch. All I can say is I felt amazed in 20 minutes of riding, try looking at the european sites , that are testing them over there at the moment or write to f one themselves
