can some of the tribal experts tell me whats going on

basically, first time ive really had a go on the 13 meter. wind is probably 18-22kts gusting to 30+, I left the centreline on the furthest setting, too strong, landed moved it to the middle setting with the front Y 's at their longest setting....

fly around, kite seems to want to collapse whenever i turn hard, it tips stalls with every power stroke for a period of time.

i get back to shore, maybe it needs to be pumped up, pump it up Harder, ( maybe still not enough), go out , now the tips seem OK and i can turn without the kite trying to collapse its inside tip inwards... but now the tips seem to be crinkled? whenever i ask for more power and deform hugely if i pull them down ie Bend

back to shore..... set the y line at the shortest length , .... back out, now the top y and v lines all seem a lot Tighter, especially the top y in the centre.... the depower, let go and kite tilts forward, wings flutter a little, and depowers, pull back and the tips are still deforming..... rather than closing the back of the kite....????

back to shore, put the centre line on the most depowered setting... back out, kite sins ok, given it's 20-30 kts, when I do pull back on the bar the kite tips appeard to deform, before i am able to get the power out... ie, I know there is more power there waiting but when i pull back instead of delivering it, especially in turns i get some bending of the tips which decrease the pull while it flaps or bends ??

the kite and the tuning that i did seemed to go from wanting to collapse wintip inwards to wingtip, and ended up riding depowered , still with the tips bending vice forming a nice shape

2 factors, 1 it was windy! and gusty, and two after i pumped it up the second time, it was hard, and i felt the tips and could still bend them with my hands pretty easily ( the weight of my arm only) so does that sound like its pum ped up enough? because i get the impression the kite had troubles holding it's shape, and the depowering worked fine but the shape was killing the performance..
any advice please

^^re impact.

Kite needs atleast 7psi. And needs a soft touch. If your inexperienced you won't get anywhere near as much out of the kite as you can. Its marketed as an expert kite, because it is. Seriously fast turning (because it stalls hard), but can be ruined by heavy handed sheeting.

no... I have an impact, if you have problems with impacts crinkling at the tips, move the 5th line to a longer setting and pump it up hard, then you will have no probs, i can't figure out the tribal though

Dachopper, I answered this for you on Kiteforum.

Tribals need more pressure than Impacts.

If tips fold in flight then keep pumping.
