a few of us at Modrdy were worried about popping bladders ect... anyway we got some liquid foam to put in our kite it went well, only did the leading edge so we could carry it in our cars still only prob we have found is it can hurt when it hits someone but the less denser foam doesn’t snap so it works great and barely any weight so it fly's really well, there are a few tips for those wanting to do it, make sure you have someone hold the kite so when the foam dries it dries exactly to the kite shape. Bunning’s has a good cheap range you will need approx 4.5 cans to fill a 12m kite only done it on a co2 but see no problem working with the bows it makes the kite way approx 575gms heaver but its fantastic as you never need to pump your kite up again if any one tries it on a bow let me know how it goes see you out there
im getting the pics developed, as for the helium you gave me an idea i dont know much aboout helium but maybe i could trap it in the foam so it lasts forever???? any one know about that stuff?
ROFL are you serious, Just go buy an electric 12v pump then use your kite pump to do the last bit if your that slack btw 'fome' is spelt foam as far as I know, Matt
fome = fome its diffrent more "pouress" (spelling?) if i can find one that is pouress enough i may yet be able to fill it with helium, i have a crossbow that ill try it with tonight.
nar man thats a no way for me I sleep with my kites and I only want one of us in the bed with a stiffy thats why the bar is not invited it has to sleep in the garage
