Jumpindave,
If you haven't noticed, I am still a 'teenager' myself, and I still frequenting these forums, I am a full time uni student, I work 2-3 of 7 days which I am at uni, and more during the holidays, and I have turned out perfectly fine no matter what things have arisen on these forums.
I completed high school very successfully and achieved an academic excellent award and so on. I am in my second year at uni studying, surprisingly enough, a Bachelor of Primary Education. (Yes I have already been out there in the 'middle years' classroom as I have just completed my third and final week of teaching at least two lessons a day and a few whole days).
You should not just 'be sure', you should be 100% certain that it
is your responsibility to ensure he is doing what is required. It's all about time management, teaching him and ensuring he is responsible. etc. That is your role as a father to show him these things and set an example, and morals!
Yes I have a brother who is much older than myself, so I have been there and seen it all when he grew up in his late teenage years. I have also looked after and taught up to 13 year olds, and have many friends my age who have mainly younger sisters who are 16 and 17, and a few with brothers who are 15 and 16.
But I think you really know what I meant.

Goodluck with your son

and oi Nick.... "Desperate House Wives" oh err ewe lol - I'd rather spend a lifetime on the forum than watch that show - yikes lol
