While checking the waves somebody relieved me of most of my gear. I don't think they were kiters as they left my bar and pump and I'd like to think that we don't steal from each other as kiters. They got a 13m splitstrut Slingshot black with red and yellow stripes, I'd only used this kite twice. A Dakine Fusion harness medium. (the left side of the spreader bar has been hammered closed) These two things are fairly common but the board was unique. It is a S.O.S. surfstix 140, silver in colour with a white cross logo on the bottom, black fins and black footpads and straps also with the cross logo. It had a hard plastic handle and beside where the handle goes is the words "DEMO BOARD" stamped into the deck. Underneath there is a big scratch. I believe that there is only one of these boards (140) in Australia. Any information would be greatly appreciated and hopefully we can catch the lowlife responsible.
These responses remind me of the kids crying about the kid that picked on them but as soon as he trips over they all rush in to lay the boot in while he is down . Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes at times , don't think it means they deserve getting thier gear ripped off .
The gear is Sean's and it was ripped off long before I splattered these pages with my dirty dummy spit(for which I have already apologised to Laurie for), so please any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike
