just coming back from Bali and just wanted to relay some info.
We got some nice waves, but I was just surfing.
But I saw few times some guys kiting between Legian and Seminyak beach (west coast).
the wind (South) was pretty light apart from one day with quite few white caps.
, and generally it seems that they had some 18m2 up,
I reckon they were doing pretty well in these conditions, with days at 2-2.5m+ sets coming in and closing out in big sections.
Chatted to a guy that kited the east side near Sanur, and was saying that it is good at high tide as the reef is pretty shallow at low tide ( I think he got dragged on it few times)...
anyway seems good in Legian ( maybe with smaller waves for me to start with)...
