hey gokizza,

was there in Jan and there is heaps of places to kite. All these are around Noumea or within a few hours drive..

Meridian beach This is the site of the New Cal PKRA events. The classy Meridian Hotel sits beach side of the great flat water spot.

Aquareve beach (AquaDream Beach) - upwind of Meridien. easy access by car. more room to kite but not as flat.

Llot Maitre (Maste Island) is one of the closest islands from the town of Noumea. Easy access and a great location

Poe beach located 2h from Noumea, it has a very long sandy beach and very close to the reef, perfect wind and shallow blue water.

Ouano beach located 1h drive for Noumea just past la Foa, shallow & flat onshore kite spot

La Amede Island ( . It???s a 40min boat ride but it???s worth it.

There is awesome healthy & fast food i.e. sushi & baguettes at the 'servos' & awesome local fish meals for a bout $20. the food at the restaurants are not cheap but they are really good value for money. ~$50 for 3 course meal of local beef, fresh tuna, desert & wine - its so french & delicious!

We had 14 days out of 14 of wind before 12pm last January...
