Definitely check out the coast between Cumbuco and Jericoacoara in Brazil's North East (North of Forteleza). Sensational kiting super cheap Caipirinhas. Its sensational there. You could easily spend 3-4 months in this area alone.

Take condoms, travel insurance and learn some pork and cheese prior to departure

Hi,

Start with Cumbuco and use it as your base camp. The drive to Taiba or Paracuru shouldn't take you longer than 50 minutes.
Jeri is not really my thing. Surely it is worth a visit, but most people would have enough after a week. There you will need a buggy every time you want to go kiting.
In Cumbuco you wake up, have breakky, walk the 20 meters from your apartment to the beach to rig up your kite and off you go.
Check out this: www.cumbuco-oceanview.com
Should you come, can you please bring a few neoprene stubbie coolers with you (I will pay you for them). They are very much beloved here by the locals too, so that is a great souvenir to bring along (and doesn't take up any space and weights nothing).

Cheers

What Ceasar said for sure! He lives opposite the beach there and I am still as jealous as hell!
