i was hoping to head up there for a couple of days next week to catch up with a mate since ill be at coral bay for ten days and its pretty much up the road...

is there any beach? doesn't look to be on google maps.. also, i can explore with my atv bike so any place you might recommend along the coast that might be a goer.

thanks in advance

Kited Dampier yesterday - pretty average spot as it gets an unfriendly chop, hearsons cove, point sampson and cossack will all be good this week when the easterly is around and if you have some mates with a boat - nothing beats the islands - always a beach facing the right direction!

Its not perfection but its damn fun, water is cold, need a neoprene top with your boardies, still if you are coming from the south no doubt its like a bath!!

Lots of salt lakes and other flat areas for the kite and mountain board too!
