I'de take the bigger kite, or would try and scab a large foil somewhere...have fun.

Gruezi's right as a foil would help in the gusts and the energy to pump. Get out past Eagles's Nest and head out towards "Seamons Hut" there's some good flat spots and ridges. Remember get someone else with you as the weather can get pretty nasty.
