Finally a day that we can kite again!!, I've been going slightly mad waiting for just some bit of wind, time to dust off the wetsuit see you Sunday nice1..........
Has anyone kited the northern most edge of south beach (the dog beach near the sailing club). Assuming that swimmers and dogs stay home in the wind, i was thinking that this beach might be good with plenty of flat water from the 500m groyne, unless there is too much wind shadow from the masts of the boats.
I'll be down at Brighton, and I'll bring my telephoto lens for some "Perth winter action" shots during the breaks, so bring your a-game if you want to have some shots taken of ya! cya there dudes..
a couple out at melville, ( although it's still too easterly, but should be better later on) and a dude out at pt walter ( although it's very North over that side)
Is there something wrong with Safety Bay wind arrow direction
The wind is directly off shore and the meter is somewhere along the foreshore I believe, I'd bet my left nut it's protected/sheltered in this direction from buildings and other obstructions.
Well ended up pretty tame NOR it blew at 1pm for a hour then a little about 3 , bit of a downer was hoping for a all dayer, Northerlies hmm as unpredictable as my ex wife Still nice to get out for something
