Hey guys, i am looking buying an 8m and have a choice of the Airush and F-one. They are both 2005 models. I am in bali and choice is quite limited and this what i have come up with. Any advice on the pros and cons would be greatly appreciated. I am no pro, but plan to do some way riding,

Thanks for any advice

bob, whilst in bali spend your hard earned cash on strip clubs as cheap 8m kites second hand "as new" are dime a dozen on the east coast of oz. you'll still boost big.
and if it's that windy when you get home the model of kite is irrelevent if it's a year or so old.
just post in buy/sell east coast.

i used to have a dream 3 8 meter, not a bad kite, adjustable fifth line, big range, easy relaunch.. few different safety systems included with the kite aswell.

Can recomend the Flow . Had the 05 8m and loved it . Very stable , predictable and has got good range .
I don't do any freestyle riding anymore and have been riding a surfboard in the waves for the last couple of years .
I found the Flow very easy to use because it responds well to input but when you wipe out it is stable and just sort of sits there until you sort yourself out again .
Strong construction and brilliant relaunch .
Great wave kite .
If you are worried about resale value bring it over to the West coast to sell , last season we had a shortage of good ,second hand ,small kites.

Thanks for the info guys,
looks like both are good kites i will have to see which seller will do me the best price? what do think about US$400 no bar for the flow apparrently used three times? and/or US$500 with bar for the F-one used fifteen times?
much appreciated guys.

for that price if rail in is selling an 8 impact for 800 aus I would go that, but 500US, for the dream is probably about the same as what you would pay in AUS for a dream3.

Chill out, keithbavarianswearingbear, i off to Sumbawa next month it is meant to be essential there. but you are definitely right about the kite size here in bali, but i have used my 11m a couple of times.
Thanks everyone
