Hi there fellow forumateers i have been reading for a while and was shocked recently about all the negitive comments towards arc's and arc style kites. i was thinking about it for a while and wondered how many other fellow arcers are still out there? maybe we could have a get together or barby to celerbrate our arcish ways? hahahaha that sounds really corny i know but it would be fun to know who's still got one so maybe if you could post back if your at all interested and we could try to set a roundabout date for the meet.

I would have though it was an "ensemble"... as in "bedding ensemble".

Azza,

Hope that me being an arc flier doesn't unsettle you too much!

arc angel,

Juddy,
I fly a homemade kite, what could possibly unsettle me

Bondo,
you're just jealous that strange men aren't giving you toys too
(OMG! I'm a toy boy!)

Home made kite, what is it a foil or a pumper, got any photos?

I thought arc flyers were excentric

Arc fliers aren't eccentric. None of you are wealthy enough to be called eccentric. You're just crazy... like the rest of us.

It's an inflato... too much bloody sewing and bridling in a foil, and I couldn't find a decent plan for an arc.

I think I have the bride of frankenkite under my house,

Its name is frankenboard.

In an operation that resembed that of Dr Moreau, I cut in half, manipulated and later rejoined with a fiberglass sleave an old surfboard so the board can be separated a two feet from the tip and put into the boot of a car, to be rejoined again at the beach.

there are no photos its too ugly.

A.

Sweet Jesus, Lord save us...did you HONESTLY make that semi-aborted creature of the skies Azza? what in the name of god made you do it? Did you dare yourself? More importantly, does it fly, and if so, how well/badly?

all of a sudden, i'm feeling really sick again.

be warned - azzas frankenkite has a huge wind range and is magnetically attracted to other kites. once it hits your beach, you will never be safe again.
