THE PROBLEM WITH KITESHOPS...I HAVE FOUND(IMO)...IS THAT THE PEOPLE THAT OWN THEM ARE PEOLPE WHO KITE....THEN THINK "I CAN MAKE SOME MONEY OUT OF THIS"..RATHER THAN BUSINESS PEOPLE WHO SAY "HOW CAN I BEST SERVE THE INDUSTRY AND MY CUSTOMERS". NOT HAVING A GO AT ANY ONE BUSINESS,I THINK THIS HAPPENS IN ALOT OF BUSINESSES REGARDLESS OF INDUSTRY.
well thats the opposite to what i thought. business people want to jump in on a good idea and make as much money as they can kiters want to have a business were they can go kiting when its windy? well thats what i always thought. i way prefer the kiter over business guy stereotype, infact i dont want to do business with some one who doesnt play a part in the kiting sceen.
I concur, it is vital that the shop owner knows the sport in which they trade. its the companies who take our money and do not pour it back into the sport that we should be aware of. If you care about our sport and wish to contribute to the evolvement and and success of kite surfing you should always support those who help support the sport.
