Hello .Just wondering if anyone out there can tell me about some good spots in the USA.I intend to travell up the west coast from San Diego to Oregon then inland to Bend Central Oregon.Ive been to the Gorge awesome spot but I am keen to find spots along the west coast and find out if anyone kites in the Bend lakes system.Thanks alot.Steve

I lived in a small town about 20km from Bend for a year and snowboarded Mt Bachelor in 6m of snow that year so maybe adapt to snowkiting. The lakes we waterskied in had a lot of pine trees around the edges and can not remember a lot of wind.The altitude is about 2000m

lived in san diego for more than 2 years. not much wind over there. you can kite mission bay on a big kite - if you are lucky...
