Hey,
gunna be at Nelsons bay staying on one mile beach on friday through to monday and was wondering the best spots to kite(flat and surf)close to here.
I think we are staying at The Retreat which is spose to be right near the beach.
Any info would be helpful,which winds where,best tides where ect

Berubi is the place for any winds west through to south east.
One mile is good for easterly or Nor easter.
Fingal spit for north winds.

nor west forget it!

I'll be up at my cabin at One Mile Beach caravan park from friday lunch.

Let me know if ya want to hook up for a session at one mile(Friday forecast is good).

Im hoping to get there on friday arvo in time to get a kite in before dark but that will depend on traffic and how organised the others comming are to get on the road early.
Is one mile beach surf or flat?
I learnt to kite in the surf 2 years ago and have actually never been in flat water and am keen to give it a ago

looks like I will be there about 1pm.If the trees are moving will be straight down for a kite.
What are the best wind forcasts to look at for one mile beach?
If I dont get a kite in on friday,dont know if I will get in the water for the rest of the weekend cause its gunna be a very messy bucks weekend

forecast is for nor east at about 2pm.
