need some help.have bought new jamie pro and went out to cottlesloe and scratched it...so do i throw it away and get new one or go back to old jamie pro(04) until i get over the scratch????? my life is ruined..not as bad as mate..didn't like the colour and spray painted over it...

did you core it? I've been riding the JP 05 since Sept 04 - still smooth as butter. They are tough as, so you must have hit something HarD.

the more scratches you get the less you care. So go out get a stanley knife and rip the **** out of it.

you get a lot less stress from a scratched board and more fun, i probably wouldn't feel this way if my board wasn't second hand and pre scratched though.

jjjjjeeeeezz u must have hit it hard i ran into rocks at point walter and the scratch wasnt that bad and was going slow either.... the pain will pass with time

get out the epoxy / fibreglass (depending on the board makeup) and patch it up if it's bad enough. Once you repair your first ding on it that's when you can really go hard on it!
