i really don't think there's much of a market there and self flying power generating kites exist already

Pretty intense servos,, but a heaps boring vid. Dont see the point of such a contraption but we all do silly things when bord.

I myself glued a pair of thongs to a old bodyboard "thongboard" :D Then took it wakeboarding and soon kiting when im a bit better.

If you read the notes on the video it explains it's use.
It was done by a university as they are developing a computer controlled kite system.
This was just the first step in seeing if the servo mechanism worked.
The biggest usage of this type of setup is in the shipping industry.
