you are no longer allowed to park your car on the side of the road at melville. is there anything that waksa can do to get it changed back to the way it was before the start of summer????
Just like everything...the beaurocrats apply more silly rules and regulations and people will find a way around them, creating even more problems.
People who buy property next to parks and water ways will always try and claim these common grounds for themselves. By purchasing next to public spaces, they are paying a premium for proximity, not exlusivity.
Sadly, most of the premium properties along Melville Parade are the trophies of rich foreigners or the old and decrepit. There is no life in most of these homes. The best thing that has happend to this part of the river is the sport of kiting. Finally people are out and about with smiles on their faces enjoying nature.....there is life on the river.....and yes, people ARE nature.
If they ban parking along the foreshore, kiters will just have to park in the neighbourhood and walk to the beach. This sort of activity will then create some real congestion and outcry.
I certainly hope that some common sense prevails at Melville and the status quo is not mettled with.
Why would you want to kite at Melville anyway???????????????????????? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
we live there i will go and steal it tonight... any other signs you dont like?
Actually there's that one on the G.Farmer FWY, just before the north-bound tunnel, that announces the left lane bottle-neck... I hate that one. Please put it at the bottom of the Swan River too...
