Hi,
Really looking forward to visiting Perth and Oz and I would like to kite in the Perth area as much as possible. Ive heard alot about the Freemantle doctor!! Wondering where is the best locations in Perth to kite in Late April? I will be spending a week on holiday and dont want to travel too far if possible. Will there still be any wind? Also whats the air/water temperature like? Do you need a shorty or just a rash vest?
Thanks in advance,
John

hi John,
Unfortunatly you have chosen the wrong time of year to come to Perth .By mid April the seabreeze's are just a distant memory. Don't despair though, as a short drive north (7 hours!!!) and you will find plenty of wind with palces like Shark Bay .
Sure plenty of people on here will give you advice on where to go.

No wind in Perth in late April, boo.
Shark bay!!
Sounds nice. Does it get its name for any particular reason or just because there are sharks in the bay?
But you reckon there are people and wind up there in late April? Maybe a good option, 7 hours isnt too bad. It'd be cool to hire a car a drive up the coast.

just punch them in the nose, nothing to worry about. If they are really agressive you might not want to go out, but only if they are 8+ feet.
