Going to Phuket in early sept. Is it worth taking my kite gear
if so, where to go that time of year and what size kite, I am 82kgs

i dont like your chances. i think the "recognized" season is november through feb or so.

either way, you will need 16m+. i was there about 2 weeks ago and we got maybe 2 days of 16m weather and maybe a 12m day if ur game to kite the storms.
