anyone knowq where i can get some plugs/inserts put in my surfboard
preferably in the scarborough/northish area

I cant help you with places north of the river, but I know that SOS in Fremantle can put some inserts in for you.

There is apparently a new design for pads & straps that just uses some kind of strong bonding doublesided tape over an area directly under the straps to hold them on the board. This may be easier than putting in plugs etc. I can't see it being quite as strong though and I guess you lose the ability to remove them too.

Interesting idea though.

mate i live just up the road from scarbs. visit Colin Earle in osborne park and get 4 lots of inserts.(they are a supplier for shops around perth and a heap cheaper too) should only cost around $10 for all the plugs, than grab a tube of aqua kneed it(marine grade putty/adhesive) about $12 from bunnings and your all set. if you get stuck give us a call on 0414721782 and if you bring around a few cold beers ill help ya out and put them in if its not a windy arvo. only a 20 minute job
